Copa America 2024 Stadium List and Their Seating Capacities

The United States is all set to host the 48th Copa America this summer in 14 cities. Besides Euro 2024, there will be an extra football extravaganza that will feature some of the best football teams from North and South America. The USA was officially announced as the host nation on 27 January 2023. Here is the complete list of all hosting stadiums and cities where all these matches will be played.

Which stadium will host the opening game?

On 20 November 2023, it was officially announced that the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta will host the opening game of the Copa America 2024. It will be played between the defending Champions Argentina and Canada on 20 June 2024.

The Mercedes Benz stadium is one of the most iconic stadiums in the United States that will also host some matches of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. It has a seating capacity of more than 71,000 which can be expanded to 75,000.

It was officially opened on 26 August 2017 with a Falcons preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals. The stadium is owned by the Georgia World Congress Center Authority and operated by AMB Sports and Entertainment.

On the same day (20 November 2023), the venue for the Final match was announced. Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida was selected as the host stadium for the Final of Copa America.

It has a seating capacity of 64,767 which can be expanded to more than 74,000. Hard Rock Stadium will host multiple games in the 2026 FIFA World Cup which will be jointly hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

The stadium was opened on 16 August 1987 and Stephen M. Ross is the owner of the stadium. It is a multi-sports stadium that hosts football and American football matches. In 2013, the stadium recorded a record attendance of 80,120.
