15th UCL Title Without Defeat

Los Blancos were undefeated throughout the whole Champions League this season. They won all 6 group-stage games before entering the Round of 16.

Real Madrid first claimed a 1-0 win against RB Leipzig before drawing in the second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu. RB Leipzig gave probably the toughest competition to the Champions in the second leg at the Bernabeu.

In the Quarter-Final round, they met the previous Champions Manchester City against whom they suffered a 0-4 defeat last season. However, they came prepared this season and kept a 3-3 draw at their home ground. The Vikings played far better this time at the Etihad Stadium and won against Pep Guardiola’s best squad on penalties.

It was Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich in the Semi-Final that turned out a 4-3 win for Real Madrid on aggregate and that too without a defeat.

Carlo Ancelotti’s men kept a 2-0 clean sheet victory against Borussia Dortmund and became the first team to win 15 UEFA Champions League trophies.
