The semi-finals of Euro 2024 qualifiers are wrapped and we have now 6 teams out of which only 3 will play the European Championship in Germany this year. We are just a few days away from knowing the remaining 3 teams who will play the Euros 3 months later. Check the qualified teams of the Euro 2024.
Wales, Poland, Ukraine, Israel, Iceland, Georgia, and Greece are the 6 contenders who can qualify for the finals of Euro 2024 to be played in summer this year. So let’s predict who has the edge to book a place in the final 3.
Path A: Wales or Poland
Both teams played the last edition 3 years ago but this time, only one will qualify for the finals. Wales missed the opportunity of direct qualification when they finished at the 3rd spot in Group of the qualifying round. Poland had the same story in the qualifying round as they also finished in 3rd spot behind Albania and the Czech Republic.
In the semi-final playoffs, Wales thrashed Finland with a thumping victory of 4-1 that makes them one of the best teams to qualify for Euro 2024. However, Poland showed even better class in against Estonia in the semi-final with a remarkable 5-1 win.
Prediction
It is quite hard to predict who can qualify for the final of the competition as both teams will now face each other in the final of the playoff. So it’s difficult to predict the winner but we can predict that the final could be decided on penalties.

Path B: Ukraine or Iceland
We have seen Ukraine in the last edition of the UEFA Euro and they did qualify for the Round of 16 as one of the best third places in the group stage. But Ukraine played against Bosnia and Herzegovina in the semi-final and managed a narrow win of 2-1.
Meanwhile, although Iceland failed to qualify for the last Euro, but their recent performance against Israel was exceptional. A 4-1 win against a team like Israel is proof that Iceland is competent to make it to the finals of Euro 2024.
Prediction
Iceland missed the last opportunity which makes them more dangerous. So we predict Iceland as the favorite to qualify for the European Championship from Path B.
Path C: Georgia or Greece
Both teams failed to make it to the Euro 2020 but this time, one of them will go to Germany to play the biggest European football competition. In the qualifying round, Greece collected 13 points after winning 4 matches and a draw in 8 games. On the other hand, Georgia bagged 8 points with 2 wins and 2 draws in the European qualifiers.
Georgia kept a clean sheet victory over Luxembourg by 2-0 but Greece netted 5 goals against Kazakhstan without conceding. This makes Greece one of the best contenders to book a ticket for Euros.
Prediction
After comparing the performance of Greece and Georgia in the qualifying and play-offs, we can predict that Greece can qualify and should qualify for the UEFA Euro 2024.
