No Contract Renewal at PSG

The current contract of Kylian Mbappe with PSG ends in June 2024 and he doesn’t want to renew it. He signed for PSG on 31 August 2017 and spent seven years and played alongside Lionel Messi, and Neymar also. He won almost every trophy he played for except the UEFA Champions League.

Real Madrid knew his contract with PSG would expire in six months so the club contacted him in January to avoid what happened 2 years ago. Once the contact was made with the Frenchman, it was a positive response that satisfied Madrid’s need.

Despite the low wages offered by Real Madrid as compared to the wages offered in May 2022, Mbappe still agreed to join. Madrid has managed to lower the conditions related to image rights, but most of the points have been agreed upon by both parties. But still, he’ll be the highest-paid Real Madrid player as for now.

In the agreement between Mbappe and Real Madrid in 2022, they agreed on a transfer bonus of 130 Million, which has also been slightly reduced. So for all reasons, and once the amount of this transfer bonus has been prorated, the French star’s remuneration would not reach 50 Million in total.

Real Madrid’s president Florentino Perez is yet to announce the signing. He has a huge role behind this signing as Mbappe has a good relationship with Florentino Perez.
