A dominant performance in the Championship

When Leicester City was relegated to the Championship, their main aim was to get promotion to the best league and they began their campaign pretty well.

So far in the Championship, they’ve played 44 games out of which they secured 30 victories and 4 draws. Right now, Leicester City is leading the table with 94 points followed by Leeds United and Ipswich Town with 90 and 89 points respectively.

The Foxes are due to face an independent commission after they were charged by the Premier League for alleged breaches of profit and sustainability rules relating to their last 3 years in the Premier League.

Jamie Vardy – The Symbol of Loyalty

Jamie Vardy is one man who can get huge credit behind another Leicester City promotion. He has scored 18 goals for his side in all competitions this season and helped Leicester become one of the 20 Premier League 2024-25 teams.

After the relegation of Leicester, he could have signed a different club but the 37-year-old showed his loyalty to the club and did what he always does.

During the 2015-16 season, Vardy was the most talked footballer in the Premier League and was the top goal scorer of the competition. He was well utilized by the then club manager Claudio Ranieri, who guided the club to win their first Premier League title in 2016.

In 2021, the Foxes won their 1st and only FA Cup title, and that too with Jamie Vardy. When they were relegated from the Premier League, it brought an end to a decade of unimaginable success for the club.
