Real Madrid Qualified for the Record 18th Champions League Final

With a stunning comeback of 2-1 against Bayern Munich in the Semi-Final, Real Madrid have qualified for another Champions League final. They’ll now play 18th final of the competition against another German side Borussia Dortmund.

Los Blancos have already played 17 UCL finals out of which they won on 14 occasions and were runners-up 3 times. Also, this is their 6th appearance in the final of the Champions League in 11 years.

Bayern’s substitute Alphonso Davie scored the opening goal of the game that silenced all Real Madrid fans at the Bernabeu. But, 2 goals in 3 minutes by Joselu sent Real Madrid into another final of the competition.

Although it was Joselu who scored both goals, but it was an impressive performance by the whole team. Vinicius Junior also had a great game but he was quite unlucky. Vini was named the man of the match for his great performance.

18th UCL Final vs Borussia Dortmund

Real Madrid will now play the final of the 2023-24 Champions League against Borussia Dortmund who won against PSG in the Semi-Final. Dortmund were the Champions League winners in 1997 and 6 years later, they again qualified for the final in 2013.

The Final will be played at Wembley Stadium, London on the 1st of June 2024. The winner will play against the winner of the UEFA Europa League in the final of the UEFA Super Cup 2024.
